Just what is the American way of life? One can only conclude it is that which the government and courts have endorsed, created or allowed – you know, like a country with open borders. Open borders threaten the American way of life. When you have to close 78 hospitals (designed to treat Americans who have taken ill and thereby give them a better quality life) because their resources have been exhausted by border-jumpers that get ill or are ill in the first place, and the U.S. Government has passed a law that makes hospitals treat all who come through their doors, thereby encouraging sick people from all over the world to come into this country for essentially free treatment – tied to the fact that we have open borders – just what do you think is going to happen? Compassion and open borders are a bad combination and the height national and of fiscal irresponsibility.

When we talk about the attack on America from Al-Qaeda, let’s not forget the attack from Mexico, and other South American countries and any other citizen from any other country who is following the call of Emma Lazarus, which was attached to the Statue of Liberty and reads in part:

“Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,

The wretched refuse of your teaming shore,

Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,

I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

When I was in school, we were taught to revere these words and now, because of government ineptitude (from both parties), those words have become a curse to this nation. The Statue of Liberty has in effect become a Trojan horse. The greatness of this nation, with its open borders are like a magnet to all those living in countries that are run even worse than our own. Who in their right mind wants to live in a Third World cesspool run by tyrants and dictators only interested in lining their own pockets all the while keeping their citizens from the success that we enjoy? And if this invasion of America keeps up, we will turn into a Third World cesspool and fall onto the scrap pile of history as have many other once great nations after they got stupid. But in the meantime, don’t worry – we aren’t being run by tyrants and dictators, we are being run by the inept, that “we the people” elect. We get the government we deserve. Don’t get me wrong; the problem isn’t in our participation in free and open elections or in the stars, “The fault, dear Brutus, is in ourselves.”
